
- YMCA Member ID or Photo ID is required for entry

- The YMCA is not responsible or liable for articles lost, damaged or stolen. Lost and Found is located at the Member Service Desk.
- The YMCA does not provide accident insurance for members or program participants. Each person participates at his/her own risk.
- Certain areas of the YMCA facility may be reserved or for adult use only. Please check with the Member Service Desk.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in locker rooms, gyms, pools and activity areas. We appreciate your help in keeping your YMCA safe and clean.
- Youth ages 13-16 must complete a Youth Fitness Orientation before using the strength and cardio areas.
- At our branch locations, cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card and personal checks are acceptable forms of payment.
- The YMCA charges a $25 fee for returned checks or monthly bank drafts.
Child Supervision

It is required that members who are ages 10 and under and use the YMCA’s building or grounds:
- 1) Be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian; or
- 2) Be registered and participating in a supervised YMCA program.
- Youth ages 11-14 may use the basketball courts without supervision until 8 pm, Monday through Thursday and 9 pm on Fridays.
- Supervised Play Area – For children 6 weeks to 10 years old
- We provide a safe, enjoyable place for children 6 weeks to 10 years old to spend time while parents are participating in YMCA activities.
Attire
Shirts, shorts/pants and closed-toed shoes are required during exercise in the workout areas and basketball courts. Street shoes are not permitted on the pool decks. Proper swimming suits must be worn in the pools. No cut-offs, gym shorts or t-shirts are allowed in the pools.
Conduct
Along with its privileges, members, guests and program participants agree to abide by the rules, regulations and policies of the YMCA membership. Inappropriate language and behavior do not reflect YMCA philosophy and will not be tolerated. Please treat fellow members with honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. Inappropriate or offensive language, behavior or attire is cause for suspension from the use of YMCA facilities or programs. Please report such behavior to a staff person immediately. The Champaign County YMCA reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership or guest member if their conduct is judged to be in conflict with the welfare of other members or staff, or in conflict with the YMCA’s values.
Photographs
Occasionally, the YMCA takes photos of our program participants and members enjoying programs, special events or facilities. These photographs are for YMCA publications, brochures, advertisements or Web pages. Photographs are used at the discretion of the YMCA and become its sole property. By acceptance of membership or by registration in a program, members and guest members give their permission to the YMCA to use without limit and obligation, photographs, film footage or tape recordings, which may include their image or voice for purposes of promoting the YMCA.
