New Charter Memberships:
A Charter Membership is an individual, couple, family or youth who pays the new membership fees plus the joining fee up- front for an entire year. You will receive permanent recognition in the building as a Charter Member of our new YMCA. You will also receive a gift as a thank you from us for supporting your new Y. YMCA Community Challenge!
The Champaign community continues to show its support of the new Champaign County YMCA through a major private donor match to the Community Phase of the New Beginnings Campaign.
The private donors have pledged to match dollar for dollar, the Community donations up to $2 million ending on 02/29/12. This gift will match 100% of the amount raised in the Community Phase of the New Beginnings Campaign, going on now. CEO, Mark Johnson says “Wow! This matching gift will help our goal of having the entire project paid for before we open the doors next Spring. We really want the entire community involved, whether it is $25 or $25,000 every dollar is important to provide the facility and programs for everyone in Champaign County.”
The donors to the Community Campaign will join the visionary leaders who made the first gifts to the New Beginnings Campaign. This new facility is scheduled to open the first quarter of 2012.
